As a Solution Area Specialist, you will discover and qualify new leads. You will help drive consumption with new and existing customers. This opportunity will allow you to identify market and customer needs and collaborate with internal teams to devise solutions to meet those needs. You will help orchestrate deals across multiple stakeholder groups including partners as well as position Microsoft solutions in competitive landscape through research and collaboration. You will utilize your industry expertise to differentiate Microsoft solutions and help develop and manage pipeline for territory and forecast resource needs as well as meet with customers on site to deepen relationships and solution development.

**Responsibilities**
• You will learn how Microsoft's 3-cloud-platform can enable digital transformation areas. Supports team members on digital transformation opportunities in an assigned area by applying established process and activities.
• You will receive leads from Marketing and converts leads into opportunities for the supported business and apply Microsoft's sales process (MSP) to determine the quality of the opportunity and whether to proceed.
• You will collaborate with One Commercial Partner (OCP) and other assigned partners to cross-sell and up-sell products, solutions, and services and understand the ecosystem of the partners in a solution area.
• You will participate in and contribute to internal technical community discussions and conversations and complete the required training and obtain relevant product and role certifications aligned to the role and workload/industry
• You will learn about direct competitors for the assigned products, solutions and/or services and collaborate with the 'compete' global black belts (GBB) to execute on strategies that position Microsoft favorably against competitors.
• You will collaborate with senior team members to manage the pipeline of the assigned territory in a solution area as well as support the development of a portfolio and territory plan.

**Required Qualifications**
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or related field
• Technology-related sales or account management experience
• Fluent in German
• Fluent in English
