As an **Azure Data, Apps & AI Specialist** you will be a senior solution sales leader within our Small, Medium and Corporate growth business, leading a virtual team of technical, partner and consulting resources to advance the sales process and achieve/exceed quarterly Data, Apps & AI revenue and usage/consumption targets in your assigned accounts. This includes winning the database platform, supporting customers’ migration to the cloud, their data platform modernisation aspirations and supporting new application development. You will also support your customers in innovating with AI, building AI into their customer facing solutions and supporting their internal operations in driving efficiency and automation. You will be a trusted advisor and Analytics, Data Apps & AI subject matter expert with core capability and expertise in Data Modernization, Analytics and AI. You will work with customers to leverage data to help them achieve their business priorities and help guide customer’s journey through Analytics-led Azure Data transformation. You will help customers evaluate their applications and business requirements, recommend solutions that meet their requirements and demonstrate these solutions to win the technical decision. You will need to support customers to remove roadblocks to deployment and drive customer satisfaction. You will help our customers take advantage of our unique hybrid data platform and leading Analytics, Apps & AI solutions to realize the value of digital transformation. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond. **Responsibilities** + Identify new data, AI and application development opportunities with the support of marketing signals, existing customer usage and targeted business development activities + Collaborate with a team of technical, partner, and consulting resources to advance the sales process and exceed quarterly Data, Apps & AI revenue targets in your assigned accounts. ​​ + Engage in conversation with customers aligned to their industry and collaborates with account and partner team to drive and qualify new opportunities and build pipeline. + Maximise key market opportunities to accelerate consumption (e.g. end of life campaigns, data centre exit, data driven targeting based on usage, trial conversion, competitive moments) + Identify customer business and technology readiness + Strong program usage to show Microsoft’s commitment to our customers (skilling, presales funding, solution assessments, FastTrack advisory) + Drive strong partner collaboration on sales opportunities to accelerate velocity and consumption growth. + Set up events within Microsoft, mentor others and develops strategies for best practice sharing​ + Drives the execution of projects, partners and collaborates with other teams on related deliverables, and leverages others in relevant work streams.​ Data, applications and AI is a fact-moving space in Microsoft’s portfolio so it’s important so consistent upskilling required on solution knowledge and competitive positioning **Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or related field AND technology-related sales or account management experience OR more extensive technology-related sales or account management experience. Preferred qualifications: + Solution sales or consulting services sales experience working with Data solutions preferred (Cloud-based Data Warehouse, Hadoop, Spark, Data Lake, SQL solutions required MySQL, PostreSQL, NoSQL (Mongo), and Machine Learning solutions desired.
