PwC is looking for a Solutions Architect to join our Cloud & Digital team. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 8-10 years in solution design or a similar role and a proven track record of designing and implementing complex technical solutions.
Qualifications / Certifications required:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework)
Certified Senior Manager (CSM) or similar senior management certifications
Specialized certifications in cloud computing, data analytics, or enterprise architecture
Experience required:
Minimum of 8-10 years in solution design or a similar role
Proven track record of designing and implementing complex technical solutions
Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale projects
Strong background in software development methodologies and lifecycle
Experience with cloud computing, data analytics, and enterprise architecture
Responsibilities of role:
Lead the design and communication of solution vision through integrated architecture.
Manage end-to-end infrastructure solution design and project oversight.
Collaborate with business units and technical experts to develop solutions that meet business requirements.
Ensure technology and security standards are followed and exceptions are reviewed and approved.
Create and maintain design documents and other solution design artifacts for projects.
Assess solutions and recommend service providers based on service, SLA, cost, and location.
Skill sets required:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Proficiency in software development and understanding of various programming languages
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, data analytics tools, and enterprise architecture frameworks
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively
Leadership skills to influence and drive best practices within the team
