Job Summary

We are looking to add a Solutions Architect to our Value Added Service team. You will report to our Sr Director of Sales Operations in Austin TX. In this role you will help design and create advanced supply chain solutions for our existing and future customers. Working together with internal and external subject matter experts you analyze customer’s needs and create tailor-made solutions leveraging Flex advanced supply chain and logistics offerings for internal and external customers.

What a typical day looks like:

Working with cross-functional teams creating winning innovative and customer specific solutions with speed and efficiencyPropose and/or design Customer technical solutions, which include creating demos and proofs of concept with Innovative Supply chain solutionsProvide consistent feedback from the market to Product Management and Development teams and coordinate gaps between product functionality and customer requirementsProcess - model the Customer specific solution, understanding flows, volumes, etc. and interface with other areas of Flex to obtain the data requiredEnsure that all technical and business requirements of the customer / prospect are clearly understood, and articulate how our solutions can meet themEnsure knowledge and best practice transfer throughout the organizationEnsure effective transitions (new customer introductions and exits) by working closely with the ops team and setting up a transition to account management teamSolve customers' business issues with GSS technology, brainstorming with cross functional teams on technical propositions to enhance customer value addLead supply chain workshops with customers

 

 The experience we are looking to add to our team:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Supply Chain Management; Business AdministrationA relevant background and demonstrated experience in supply chain management, logistics or similar6+ years of experience working as a Solutions Architect for Cloud/Servers/Data CentersStrong analytical thinking skills in order to analyze and understand complex supply chain challengesIdeally previous experience doing supply chain and data analysisStrong MS Excel skills are required in this roleWillingness to travel up to 30% on average

Experience working for or with a hyperscaler a strong plusExperience in a large, multinational, matrix-based organization is an advantageExperience with BI topics (e.g. Power BI or Tableau) would be an advantageExperience with data visualization and strong presentation skills
