Job Title: Soldering/Wire Prep Tech
Job Description

Join our team as a Soldering/Wire Prep Tech in a cable manufacturing company. You will assemble industrial cables used in various industries. These multi-pin cables contain multiple wires and cables inside. Your primary focus will be on soldering, but you may also assist in the wire prep area. Tasks include soldering, potting, cutting wires, and assembling connectors.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble industrial cables with multiple wires and cables inside.Perform soldering tasks with high precision.Assist in wire prep tasks as needed.Cut wires and assemble connectors.Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Pass a soldering test, demonstrating the ability to strip braided cable and solder 7 different wires to a connector within a timed setting, focusing on speed and quality.Essential SkillsAt least 2 years of soldering experience.Ability to read blueprints and schematics.Willingness to work in various areas beyond soldering.Additional Skills & QualificationsValid state-issued ID or Driver's license required for the interview.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a nice, clean, and climate-controlled shop. The company currently has about 30 employees and plans to grow to 50-60 employees. The shift is 1st Shift from 7am to 3:30pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $23.00/hr.
