Summary: Seeking a Soldering Technician with experience in building precision optical/electrical/mechanical assemblies and proficient in working under a microscope lab environment.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
4 or more years of experience building precision optical / electrical / mechanical assemblies to high-quality standards
Experience soldering electrical/electronic components and assemblies (previous IPC J-STD-001 certification a plus)
Previous experience working under a microscope with delicate materials
Preferred Skills:
Comfortable using a computer to retrieve drawings and procedure from document management system
Exceptional organizational and documentation skills working with electronics
Experience in procurement of electronic components
Basic knowledge of circuits and the electronic design process
Responsibilities:
Work under a microscope to build electrical assemblies utilizing ECAD drawings, procedures, and specifications in a FOD and ESD controlled environment
Assist design engineers with circuit board rework and assembly for prototyping or for flight per IPC J-STD-001 standards
Maintain the inventory of hardware and electronic components, tracking of hardware status and location, working with Quality Assurance for equipment calibration, shipping, and maintenance of laboratory equipment
Handle design laboratory management
Pay: 23-31

Pay Details: $23.00 to $31.00 per hour
