Volt is immediately hiring for Soldering Operator in Austin, TX.?

As a Soldering Operator you will:

\r\n\r\n

· Connect component lead wires to printed circuit or routes and connects wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals and contact points.

\r\n\r\n

· Perform solder masking, taping non-solderable area, installing e-prom into the sockets and placing labels on the boards per production's documents.

\r\n\r\n

· Properly loads boards on pallets.

\r\n\r\n

· Inspects nonconforming solder join defects on PTH and SMT chips component.?

\r\n\r\n

· Collects data using the SPC charts.

\r\n\r\n

· Fills out returned forms of conforming and nonconforming materials and prepares set up kits for incoming shift.

\r\n\r\n

· Performs basic touch up, removal and placement, inspecting own work and the work of others following applicable work instructions and quality procedures.

\r\n\r\n

· Detects nonconforming defects and their defect codes to enter into shop floor control systems.

\r\n\r\n

· Reports deviations from standard procedures to engineering or supervisor and provides inputs on quality improvements.

\r\n\r\n

· Assemble complex units for wiring, connecting difference sub-assemblies and nodes into large rack systems

\r\n\r\n

This is a Full-time, Contract opportunity.?

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have:?

\r\n\r\n

· 6 – 12 months of manufacturing or related experience in machine operation, assembly, quality inspection and soldering is preferred

\r\n\r\n

· Strong manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination

\r\n\r\n

· Ability to use hand tools

\r\n\r\n

· Must be able to read/write/speak English

\r\n\r\n

· High School Diploma or GED preferred

\r\n\r\n

Pay Range: $17.00 to $19.13/hr

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n
