Semper Solaris is looking for an organized and motivated Solar Roof Lead for our Solar Operations department. The Solar Roof Lead will perform a wide variety of operations duties. The ideal candidate will have prior solar installation experience, be motivated, dedicated, and a team player. In addition, the ideal candidate will have high attention to detail and a genuine care to his/her craftsmanship.
Responsibilities:
Lead solar installation crews on the roof in residential projects Ensure completion of solar installations on various roof types, as well as ground mounts Direct the work of others at job site - provide subject matter expertise as needed Identify, communicate, and resolve any safety hazards on the roof Read and review blueprints and plan documents Install racking systems and modules Run conduit and wiring on roofs Trench digging Other tasks and duties, as neededQualifications:
Knowledge of the do's and do-nots of complete solar install Basic understanding of electrical wiring Ability to work in diverse weather conditions 1+ year(s) of solar installation experience 2+ years of roofing experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED), some college preferred Equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the positionPhysical Requirements:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on telephone Must be able to climb ladders and stairs regularly, and be comfortable with heights of at least 20 feet and walking on all roof types Able to work in various weather conditions and in extreme temperatures Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularlyPay Rate: up to $25 per hr. DOE

Prior Roof Lead experience Strong attention to detail a must Good problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize work and work under sensitive time restraints Exceptional customer service and verbal communication skill
