Kimley-Horn is looking for a Software Tester/Integrator to join our Phoenix, Arizona (AZ) office! This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities Collaborate with the development team to understand the software requirements and design test plans and strategies accordingly. Identify the key functionalities and features to be tested.Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, integration, and usability testing. Develop test cases and test scripts to validate the software against the defined requirements. Execute tests and document the results.Identify and report any defects or bugs found during testing. Work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution of issues. Track and monitor the progress of defect resolution.Working with clients to test and troubleshoot real traffic systems that are operating in some of the biggest cities in the world. Qualifications Bachelors or Masters Degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology/Systems, Computer Science, or related field6+ months of related work experience or internship(s), preferredFamiliarity with relational databases such as MS SQL Server or Oracle Experience with Microsoft ecosystem, preferred Self-starter who works well with minimal supervisionExcellent communication and customer service skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsPreferred Technical Experience:
