We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Software Test Engineer to join our team. As a Software Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our software development process implementing and performing testing procedures to support our deployment processes. Your work will enable us to deliver reliable and high-performance software products to our clients. Duties/Responsibilities -Work closely with manufacturing and development teams to develop testing strategy and plans -Write and document test plans and tests cases for a given feature set or project -Implement maintainable testing processes that support the development and deployment lifecycle -Manage all test case and test results documentation that support software release process -Query/Lookup data using SQL Server and/or Mongo to support test cases or to diagnose issues -Assist the manufacturing and/or development teams with the diagnosing of application issues -Work with Development and manufacturing teams to develop test automation strategies -Manual Testing of application software and API interfaces -Mentoring and training more junior QA Staff -All other duties as assigned Skills/Abilities: -Familiarity and/or experience with .Net, C#, REST, Web Development a plus -Experience Writing Contract Tests for API’s -Experience testing a variety of API and interface methodologies -Experience with Unit Test development -Experience with SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Queries, DB structure principles and Mongo -Experience in converting integration tests into Load Tests -Experience usingAzure DevOps to manage and review projects and work tasks -Solid understanding of software development, testing, and deployment processes -Familiarity with HTML, Visual Studio Ide, Postman, Gitand REST based API testing tools a plus -ERP and SalesForce testing experience a plus -Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail -Ability to collaborate with multiple teams on a large project -Strong communication and collaboration abilities Education and Experience: -BS degree in Computer Sciencepreferred - or related field and/or equivalent work experience -3+ years of demonstratedSoftware Testing Experience -Test Automation Experience a plus Physical Requirements: -Sitting: Over 70%
