The Manager of Quality Assurance reports to the Operations Manager and requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to foster a culture of quality within the organization.
As the leader, you will play a key role in on-time product delivery with high quality and drive customer success through the development and implementation of the software development lifecycle testing methodology based on best practices. You will develop and publish key quality metrics for all technology towers and releases reporting to senior leadership. You will work closely with cross functional teams to ensure our customers receive the highest quality digital commerce and sales software.
• Create the lifecycle quality model based on industry quality assurance best practices, along with ROI development lifecycle improvements for quality initiatives.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management and Tracking system
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for software lifecycle process by identifying and implementing process improvements to improve software quality, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency
• Oversee document control for quality process, ensuring that all quality-related documents (SOPs, work instructions, protocols) are current, accessible, and appropriately reviewed and approved
• Define and report on Quality Metrics for software technology towers and releases. Manage monthly, quarterly and annual quality scorecards and metric outputs providing regular updates to senior leadership
• Develop and deliver training programs for quality process to ensure staff compliance quality procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is integrated into the entire software lifecycle process
• Be an advocate of Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement and industry recognized Best Practices
• Manage the demand planning and work for the software regression team
• Plan and increase automation within QA processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reduce time-to-market
• Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science
• 8+ years with software quality, including creating and implementing software quality processes and systems
• 4+ years managing software quality teams
• Working experience with a Test Management Tool
• Working experience with test automation tools including TOSCA
• Working knowledge and experience in commerce and sales systems including Salesforce
• Strong experience with test automation, including UI, API (Postman) and data
• Strong experience in performance testing using JMeter
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing
• Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or similar qualifications are highly desirable
• Experience in SCRUM methodologies on large complex Agile projects using Jira
• Experience with DevOps tools including GIT, Jenkins, and Copado
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
