Software Systems Engineer Job Category: Engineering Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: None Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * **What You’ll get to Do:** Be part of a new, fast-paced U.S. Space Force (USSF) program. You will be responsible for working with stakeholders to develop requirements and deliver new capabilities while learning the mission and growing into a key engineering role. You will get to be part of a team of fun and energized engineers and culture of sharing information amongst teammates working within a product family to field a Mission Management and Command and Control application for a new USSF capability. Duties and Responsibilities: + Responsible for the decomposition of top-level system customer needs to lower-level technical requirements and work closely with development teams to build, integrate, and test the system. + Responsible for the technical accuracy on software projects for specific customer programs, tracking delivery schedules, CDRL delivery, and performing factory acceptance testing of new hardware and software. + Maintain and groom roadmaps for various development teams to ensure a clear understanding of requirements, participate in release/sprint planning, integration, and testing. + Pushing the software baseline forward by continuing process improvement and using agile software development process. + Validate that the delivered product meets the defined acceptance criteria and fulfills customer needs, while improving speed of mission delivery aligned with DevSecOps automation. **You’ll Bring These Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university and 5+ years of related experience is required.
