Software Support Engineer
Job Title: Software Engineer Pay rate: $58 per hour Duration: 4 months (temp to hire) W2 contract only (No C2C) Location- Remote (Prefer eastern time zone , but will consider central as well) **Job Description:** We are seeking a highly skilled **Full-Stack Software Engineer** with a strong background in software development, troubleshooting, and technical analysis. The ideal candidate will have a results-driven approach to product support, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused mindset. This role requires hands-on experience with Linux environments, networking protocols, and cloud-based deployments. **Key Responsibilities:** + Understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions with patience and flexibility. + Conduct deep technical analysis and troubleshooting to resolve complex software and system issues. + Collaborate in a team-oriented environment, providing hands-on product support. + Adapt technology solutions effectively, demonstrating a thorough understanding of product architecture. + Investigate and resolve ambiguous or conflicting data to identify root causes. + Work independently to complete projects on time with minimal guidance. **Required Qualifications:** + **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. + **Experience:** 4-6 years of software development experience, with at least 3+ years of full-stack development and troubleshooting. + Strong proficiency in **Linux** (Oracle, Red Hat, or CentOS preferred), including system administration, shell scripting, network configurations, and server virtualization. + Experience analyzing **network traffic** , managing VLANs, and reverse-engineering protocols. + Familiarity with **databases** , log analysis, performance tuning, and data manipulation via CLI. + Exposure to **Java, Ruby, or similar OOP languages** with the ability to follow code walkthroughs.
