Position Summary

We’re seeking a Software Quality Engineer with a passion for quality and strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) in an agile environment. The ideal candidate has excellent manual testing skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute test cases and scenarios for software applications in an agile software development environment Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure the quality of software products Conduct end-to-end application testing across hardware, virtual and cloud environments “Push Quality to the Left” to identify and address issues early in designs, code, and processes to improve overall quality Continuously enhance testing processes and expand test coverage Document and track defects to resolution using JIRA or similar tools Manage and configure test environments

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM field, Computer Science, Engineering, or related degree requiring systematic/analytical thinking Up to 2 years scripting and/or OOP programming experience (Python, etc.); new grads will be considered Curious engineer who likes to know why things break, with a passion for testing Experience in Test Framework development and maintenance  Proficiency in Linux OS  Familiarity with an Issue Tracking system (e.g. JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes  Cybersecurity experience Background in Cloud and/or other virtualization technologies Familiarity with networking, database, coding/scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript, etc.), and application protocol (e.g., SSH, HTTPS, CIFS, etc.) 

The salary range for this position is 96,000 - 120,000 + bonus + benefits
