Job Description

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Efficient use of processes and tools within team.Contribute to test strategy and technical solutions in area of expertise, including supporting QE work streams.Actively contribute to Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, grooming sessions, stand-up meetings, demo sessions, and retrospective meetings.Support the implementation of the QE Program and overall QE processes and standards through optimized test case design, test architecture and utilization of automation frameworks.Contribute to E2E, integration and support UAT testing activities.Liaise with various project stakeholders to meet deadlines for priorities that sometimes conflict.Assess and analyze risks to test progress, work with the lead to mitigate risks and unblock self.Automate test cases using RBC recommended automation framework, as per acceptance criteria, executing test cases manually and/or running the automated test scripts.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:

Computer Engineering, Computer Science, related (technical) degree/diploma.3+ years of experience designing test cases and execution (Manual/Automated)1-2 years coding experience in Java, Python (or anything equivalent) for automation scriptingHands-on experience in developing /implementing automation framework (e.g. Python) and scripting in an Agile environment.Familiarity with Agile frameworks and development methodologiesBasic knowledge of API testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI)Good knowledge of Testing Life Cycle, Shift left approach and Defect Management processes for application support and development. Good understanding QE Processes, Methodologies and Test Design techniques with hands-on experience on q-Test, JIRA, and Confluence.

Nice-to-have: 

QA related certification (e.g. CSTE, CSQA, ISTQB)Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g. GitHub, Helios and code deployment toolsStrategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses.
