We are the Product System Quality team, and we're looking for an experienced and highly motivated Software Quality Assurance Engineer. You will join a dedicated and dynamic team of people who focus on creating a magical experience with AirTag, FindMy Accessories, and iOS devices for our customers. Your role is to make sure that our customer experience is amazing. You'll be collaborating with many different teams within Apple to further improve the quality of our products, and keep a mindful eye on how we can make them even greater. Come join our team! **Description** - Design comprehensive test plans for new features, factoring in technical details and the customer experience. - Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are understood and tested - Design and run automated tests to validate firmware and end-to-end user experience - Identify fundamental metrics to track the project and team’s success - Investigate and debug complex problems, and help drive them to closure - Leverage data to influence product quality decisions and champion the customer experience in every phase of the development process **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering and 3+ years of quality assurance experience + Experience developing automation in Python, Swift, or similar languages + Good understanding of Bluetooth and other wireless technology and standards **Preferred Qualifications** + Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering + Experience in hardware and/or software development lifecycle, particularly with testing embedded consumer electronics or mobile devices + Ability to lead and drive testing of projects and features + Highly motivated and able to balance multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in presenting data to diverse teams and management **Pay & Benefits** At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $129,600 and $236,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
