Sigma Design has collaborated with an innovative manufacturing company seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance Analyst I to join their facility in Newberg, OR. This company is known for setting the standard in high-end medical devices. This position is contract with an expected duration until the end of 2025. This role is In-Office

Primary Function:
The Software Quality Assurance Analyst I is responsible for the support and validation of software developed for the next generation of dental products. Works on assigned activities to support testing of software designs with the goal to detect defects before software is released to end customers. This role is responsible for communicating to fellow team members and members of the software engineering development team.
Essential Job Functions - Responsibilities:
+ Reviews requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
+ Estimates, prioritizes, plans, and coordinates testing activities concurrently with an Agile development team.
+ Executes manual acceptance tests. Performs thorough regression testing of impacted scenarios when defects are resolved.
+ Supports debug effort of non-compliant product behavior by executing scenarios and collecting data.
+ Documents identified non-compliant product behavior as bug reports.
+ May work with technicians and others who assist in projects.
+ Follow Business Technology policies to protect sensitive data and reduce information security occurrences.
Education and Experience: (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)
+ Associate's degree in engineering preferred, or equivalent years of practical experience in the Software QA field considered
+ Excellent written/oral communication skills with a proven ability to work both independently an collaboratively within a team environment while following established procedures.
+ General knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
+ Demonstrates an aptitude for finding bugs and breaking software.
+ Motivated to learn about products in development and aspires to support quality wherever possible.
+ General knowledge of application lifecycle tools and version control tools used in a controlled software development environment.
+ Able to work independently with minimal supervision while organizing time and work area to be effective.
+ Able to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment

+ Background and drug screen - pass a post-offer background verification and drug screen.
Work Environment
Engineering: Standard office environment with normal amounts of office related conditions. Occasionally may be required to work in environmental conditions that emulate typical user environments in order to facilitate design testing and validation. Occasionally may be required to travel as required to other facilities, clients, or suppliers.
