The Home QE team is seeking a highly motivated Software QE Engineer who is passionate about quality. You will be working on protocol, API, and end-to-end testing of the software stack. You will develop comprehensive test plans and strategies to drive quality and ensure great user experiences for the latest Home features. **Description** We are seeking an experienced QE engineer that can help us lead qualification for Apple Home Ecosystem features. Responsibilities include: - Developing comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate Home features across iOS/tvOS/MacOS/WatchOS - Hands on testing & debugging issues to help isolate and root cause problems - Driving end-to-end product reliability based on insights driven by field data analysis - Design tests and develop automated test solutions - Collaboration cross functionally with development and QE teams across different sites and timezones **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience. + 5+ years experience in a QA lead role developing test cases/strategies for consumer facing products or services **Key Qualifications** **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience in technologies used in the Home automation eg. Thread, Wifi, Matter + Proficient with automating test cases in Python or Swift + Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills, including collaborating with external partners + Real passion for product quality and attention to detail **Education & Experience** **Additional Requirements** **Pay & Benefits** + At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.
