Raytheon - Air and Space Defense Systems (ASDS) is seeking a Software Mission Solution Architect for a family of enterprise mission capabilities performed across several DevSecOps development programs within the Space Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (S-ISR) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU). This position is responsible to (1) Engage various customers and stakeholders to establish position of trust with customers as thought leader and subject matter expert in the areas of Multi-INT Sensemaking, Data, Orchestration and DevSecOps; (2) Integrate Multi-INT analytics, sensemakers, orchestrators and data solutions for multiple customers and help grow Raytheon market share across the customer landscape; (3) Provide technical guidance to programs, new business capture teams, competitors and teammates to develop and integrate technology roadmap across multiple programs/products; (4) Advance and modernize DevSecOps and System Integration in alignment with Space ISR business strategy and provide software architect support to multiple software product lines.
**This is a fulltime onsite position in State College, PA**
**What You Will Do**
+ Provide technical leadership over Multi-INT Sensemaking, Orchestration and Data Solutions within Space ISR
+ Influence the architecture and technology roadmap of new and existing Multi-INT systems
+ Lead program/capture management, chief engineers and program IPTs in the consistent application of Agile/DevSecOps standards and practices to ensure predicable & consistent technical execution
+ Interact and coordinate with customer community stakeholders, including acquisition and technical groups, to influence and guide the development of programs mission requirements
+ Advise and consent on critical Multi-INT software development efforts across programs
+ Work within agile framework to lead development of software backlogs, plans, and metrics.
+ Support continuous improvement of people, processes, and tools.
+ Support the SSBU and Program Area Technical Directors with New Business and IRAD investment, to including leading IRAD teams, writing white papers and preparing/conducting demonstrations to customer community stakeholders
+ Support the CIDO Program Area Director to develop Annual Operating Plan/Long Range Business, mitigate business risks and capture new business opportunities, develop/maintain relationships at varying levels of customer leadership, and work across the Space ISR SSBU to align CIDO products with business strategies
+ Represent Raytheon Software Engineering team to the customer during periodic programmatic and technical meetings.
+ Utilize agile software development methods, automation, and continuous integration.
**Qualifications You Must Have**
+ Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of experience.
+ Experience implementing/managing a CI/CD development pipeline with automated integration testing framework in support of multiple deployment environments
+ Experience architecting solutions hosted on cloud platform solutions
+ Experience supporting programs that are managed using integrated master schedule (IMS),
+ Experience engaging with stakeholder management to include executive leaders
+ Experience leading enterprise integration of multiple systems/segments
+ Active and transferable. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
**Qualifications We Prefer**
+ Experience developing, integrating, testing and deploying real-time software systems supporting National Defense, (IC/DoD) customer missions
+ Experience leading multiple teams of engineers to deliver on-time / on-budget software solutions that meet customer’s technical and performance requirements.
+ Experience working modern software programs, using Agile/DevSecOps processes and tools to meet key performance metrics
+ Experience with Java, Python, Amazon Web Services, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Splunk, Relational and Non-relational databases, Splunk, Web Service architectures
+ Experience coordinating with multiple contracts/contractors and customer stakeholders
+ Experience/Familiarity with Ansible, Teraform, Spring, Atlassian tools, GITLab and additional cloud architectures (e.g. Azure, Oracle)
+ Effective interpersonal skills especially in team building and customer relationships
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Experience mentoring other engineers in support of their career growth

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
