Continental is partnering with Aurora to develop and industrialize the first commercially scalable Level 4 **autonomous trucking systems** . Our teams develop a **perception software stack** for ADAS functions as part of this partnering. The SW Integration Engineer is responsible for the release of software components on demand and for the end to end integration and testing of the software solution.
**Your Tasks**
As a member of the Software Integration Team in the Perception Core, you will be working on the **integration of multiple SW components to an embedded system** , and the build-up and integration of our Software-in-the-loop and Hardware-in-the-loop test environment. Working closely with the SW component, Feature Developer and Vehicle Integration Teams, you will be responsible for:
+ Integration of SW components according to the project release plan;
+ Debugging and primary error analysis for assigning the error to a specific PO;
+ Understand, coordinate and be able to connect dataflow between software components in a complex software architecture;
+ Responsble of the development and maintainance of the build system, CI/CD pipelines;
+ Collaborate to develop a strategy for testing the integrated SW following the integration strategy;
+ Coordination of automated tests for the project;
+ Implementation of test cases and performing test runs for the integrated SW;
+ Review and communication of the test results.
**Qualifications**
+ Academic degree in electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent qualification
+ Good knowledge of C, C++, Python, scripting languages (bash, JavaScript, groovy)
+ Good knowledge of Jenkins, Github, CI/CT standard tooling
+ Expertise with build systems, CMake, CONAN, compilers, packaging, variant handling
+ SW development on Windows/Linux
+ SiL testing abilities
+ Automotive experience, understanding of SW architecture, SW release workflow
+ Great communication and stakeholder management skills
+ Great problem solving skills, teamwork & agile mindset
+ Great knowledge of English (to be able to work in a multinational team)
**In addition, it would be beneficial to have**
+ HiL testing abilities
+ Advanced debugging (profiling, memory monitoring, GDB code injection...)
+ Code and build system optimization
+ target platforms, cross-compilation (ARM), compiler flags
+ Experience with AUTOSAR deployment, RTE
