As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions. AI will exponentially advance an attacker’s ability to find and exploit vulnerabilities in the coming years. Project AICodeSec (which includes the Big Sleep effort) is equipping defenders with the tools to stay ahead. Together with GDM, we are building a system that automatically finds vulnerabilities by thinking and acting like a security researcher. We are looking for Software Engineers who enjoy working with a passionate team of experts across Security and Machine Learning Research to develop infrastructure for AICodeSec. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
