We at Siemens EDA develop sophisticated software tools that span the full breadth of semiconductor and electrical systems solutions, including coordinated circuit design and verification, PCB design and manufacturing solutions, cable harness tools, and embedded software.  

About the job:  

You will work closely together with other people within the team. Among you daily tasks, you will find:  

Design and develop features on Desktop app to improve the product capabilities;  Improve and verify the quality and performance of the product;  Address and remove technical obstacles;  Support DevOps operations by improving tools and Makefiles to increase development process efficiency.  

All about you:  

You are pursuing a B.Sc. in Software Engineering, or B.A. in Computer Science, or equivalent, with good grades and have a growth mindset.  
For this internship it is vital to be enrolled in a program in Israel, ideally with more than 3 semesters left to graduation.  

Knowledge or experience in one or more of the following fields would be an advantage  

C/C++ Experience;  Working on Windows and Linux environments;  SVN/GIT;  Visual Studio experience;  Makefiles including CMake knowledge;  Python/Shell scripts/windows batch knowledge is an asset.  

Interpersonal skills  

Passionate & Eager to learn;  Self-learning, an ability to learn technologies fast and bring them in;  Team working capability;  Independent, creative, and self-motivated; Good English language communication skills.
