As part of the Spectrum Convergence team, the
engineer will be part of a multi-disciplinary
engineering team on the Trusted Security
Solutions (TSS) Program.

THE WORK
This position is for a Software Engineer (SW)
with Configuration Management (SCM)
experience. The role is on the Radiant Mercury (RM)
program. Radiant Mercury is the US Navy's
premier Cross Domain Solution (CDS), and LM
has been the prime contractor for over 20 years.
This role is responsible for configuration management of all program software, product configurations, licenses, and system information. They will ensure that all product media are securely generated, tracked, and documented. Responsible for maintaining & executing the program Configuration Data Management Plan. Responsible for auditing the software baseline versions to ensure proper configuration management processes are being followed. Responsible to tracking and reporting CM metrics to program leadership.

Responsibilities
- This individual will be executing software
development and programming primarily in C++
and JAVA, in a team environment potentially
supporting multiple projects or task orders
supporting the maintenance, modernization and
capability upgrades to multiple software products
developed and sustained by this program.
- Collaborate closely with project management, systems
engineers, systems integration and test engineers as well as fellow software engineers.
- The program is seeking a Candidate that also possess the ability to assist with the implementation and management of a software control environment utilizing DevSecOps methodologies to enable highly efficient and
productive software development processes and workflows through automation and complex problem solving.
- Contribute to achieving multiple project objectives utilizing technical skills, implementing industry best practices, and collaborating with colleagues, contractors, and customers.
- The position requires attention to detail and the
ability to assist with managing builds, deployments, SCM documentation, and configuration resolutions for multiple integrated applications during software release cycles for
development, test, and production environments.

Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
with the ability to obtain a final TS/SCI Clearance

- Familiarity with Atlassian tools (git, JIRA, confluence)

- Expected to obtain Security+ certification within 6 months of starting

- Experience with creation, labeling, and delivery of controlled media

- General understanding of the purpose of SCM
systems including version control, change tracking, artifact management, automation, and auditing
Desired Skills:
- Prefer TS/SCI clearance

- Minimal requirement is a SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain a TS clearance.

- Currently valid Security+, CASP, CISSP or similar certification

- Experience working with Agile development teams (in CM function)

- Experience maintaining version controlled software baseline

- Experience auditing configuration status of a product/build

- Experience supporting ISO audits

- Ability to support multiple release project schedules simultaneously

- Working knowledge of SCM tools such as
GitLab/Git, Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, Nexus, ClearCase,
and Jenkins CI

- Experience running CM boards and updating CM related documentation

- Understanding of Agile and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies

- Ability to work independently and prioritize workload
based on team objectives

- Ability to work in a team environment and have
strong coordination, organization, and communication
skills

- Some travel will be required to fulfill the duties
of this role

- Willing to occasionally travel

- Experience with Linux/Unix based systems

- Proficient with software development best- practices, to include design patterns

- Software development experience across the
complete life-cycle of a program

- Understanding of software development processes and workflows

- Experience using both Linux and Windows operating systems

- Individual must be able to understand the
software engineering environments and technologies to contribute the solutions related to SCM and DevSecOps

- Provide technical support, training, and
guidance to program personnel on software development lifecycle SCM/DevSecOps tools

- Continuously review program SCM plans and
processes to ensure compliance with customer, company,
and program Configuration Management (CM) policies

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $85,900 - $164,600. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
