This role works directly with customers to understand customer needs, elicit requirements, develop a solution to those requirements, then demonstrate solution to customer and iterate on the solution. Based in DevOps framework, direct major deliverables of projects through all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding and unit testing. **Primary Responsibilities** + Independently interact with customer to understand pain points and elicit requirements + Develop, prototype and deploy solutions within Commercial Cloud Solutions leveraging infrastructure platform services and participate in software programming initiatives to support innovation and enhancement, using Python, Java, JavaScript, SpringBoot, Hibernate, and Angular. + Create innovative solutions to meet the technical needs of customers, then demonstrate proposed solutions independently to customer, and update solutions based on customer feedback + Coordinate closely with team members, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to ensure User Story alignment and implementation to customer use cases + Analyze (though proof of concept, performance, and end-to-end testing) and effectively coordinate Infrastructure needs driven by developed software to meet customer mission needs + Document and perform systems software development, including deployment of build artifacts across different environments leveraging GitFlow constructs while supporting the Agile software development lifecycle following Program SAFe practices, using industry leading DevOps tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Unix bash scripting + Communicate key project data to team members to build team cohesion and effectiveness leveraging Atlassian tool suite like JIRA and Confluence to track activities and applying best practices and standard operating procedures **Basic Qualifications** + Expert using Python, Java, JavaScript and Angular with direct experience eliciting customer requirements + Experience with independent development in Commercial Cloud Platforms (ex, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) leveraging cloud data services (ex: S3, RDS, EFS) + Experience in independently demonstrating developed solutions and updating solution based on customer feedback + Expert with common Agile practices, service-orientated environments, development practices and the software development lifecycle delivering within DevOps toolsets/practices + Direct experience utilizing software testing performance tools, such as Junit, version control systems and issue/problem tracking systems + Master’s degree with 15 or more years of prior relevant experience or Doctorate with 13 or more years of relevant experience.
