Partner with the best

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to manage our platform. You'll have an understanding of software development life cycle, CI/CD practices, and technical expertise with communication skills.

As a Software Engineer Senior, you will be responsible for:

Overseeing and managing our platform infrastructure, with a focus on Kubernetes and microservices.Becoming a subject matter expert for our platforms to investigate complex problems and improve and maintain services.Owning and driving best practices and to decompose tasks within the teams.Ensuring adherence to industry best practices throughout the software development life cycle for integration services team.Creating comprehensive documentation for all systems and processes.Communicating technical concepts effectively and foster a culture of knowledge sharing.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

Know the software development life cycle (SDLC) CI/CD tools and methodologies (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)Have knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.Have proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)Have hands-on experience with DevOps tools and understanding of best practices.Have excellent documentation skills with a track record of creating clear, concise technical documentation.Be a self-motivated learner with a passion for new technologies and collaborative mindset.

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from ₡20,019,000 - ₡41,578,000/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
