Responsibilities
· Build web applications that rely heavily on HTML, Scala, and AngularJS.
· Design and build both front-end and back-end services that meet strict performance and scalability requirements
· API design and development.
Work with product management and customers both internal and external to define product features. Advocate for an excellent experience for the customer.· Help design and build the TFC’s software platform through participation in design and code reviews.
Quickly learn and use new technologieso Scala
o AngularJS
o Relational Databases
o Mobile/Tablet application development
· Excel in an agile development environment.
Qualifications
· Experienced in JavaScript, CSS, HTML. AngularJS experience helpful.
· 4+ years as a Software Engineer using Scala, Java, C++, or .Net.
· Experience with web and templating frameworks.
· Significant experience developing and releasing consumer-facing software products.
· Ability to understand business requirements and develop analytic solutions to complex problems.
· Ability to analyze complex data and present results to business users; report building and data visualization skills a plus.
· Undergraduate degree in a quantitative field (Math, Physics, Engineering, and/or Computer Science).
· Strong listening and communications skills.
· Highly motivated self-starter and can do attitude.
