Qualcomm Israel is part of Qualcomm’s Inc. QCT chip division. QCT provides complete chipset solutions which are integrated in the majority of today’s smartphone and mobile devices. Qualcomm Israel’s Camera team has a strong foothold in Israel with activities ranging from system engineering, ASIC design and verification and SW development. The local team addresses the growing demands for higher resolution video processing, improved image quality while maintaining competitive power consumption.

The team’s solutions are widely used by top tier customers and allow them to reach superior results.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Camera SW Team Member

As a member of the team, you will be required to closely work with the Camera System and other global teams, to deliver SW to commercial libraries that power Qualcomm ISP.

Your tasks will include:

Developing new Camera flows and features as means to enable additional use-cases on a given chip version. Prototyping new features on Qualcomm’s reference development platform. Testing, debugging, and supporting developed features on the reference platform optimizing code for performance.

Skills / Experience

2-5 years of proven experience in developing embedded software solutions. Strong software development skills (C++) backed good end-to-end analytic skills. Good communication skills, able to understand and explain highly technical information clearly and concisely. Strong interpersonal skills, initiative and team-player. Experience with native Android is an advantage. Experience with image and video processing is an advantage.

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering from a leading university with a GPA above 80.
