Robert Half, Inc. seeks Software Engineer III in San Ramon, CA:
Job Duties: Develop, design and own technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform. Provide administration, application development, maintenance, and technical support by using practice web programming techniques to configure robust solutions to the customers utilizing the Platform. Develop, design and rollout new application modules, workflows, and catalog requests. Research new functionality and recommend solutions that deliver customer value. Build automation, integrations, or other capabilities to ensure efficient processes and solutions. Perform administration of the ServiceNow platform, including issue, performance mitigation, and health checks. Perform unit test planning and execution for own code. Contribute to test strategy for integration testing. Create automated unit tests. Analyze, design, program, debug, test, implement, and modify software enhancements and new applications used in local, networked, or internet-related computer programs. Complete Software Development Life Cycle documentation and procedures for all phases. Interact with users to define system requirements and identify necessary modifications. Develop large and complex modules and components of larger system designs. Telecommuting permitted: work may be performed from anywhere in the U.S.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Special Skill Requirements:
1. Experience performing ServiceNow configuration, administration, version upgrades following a set of ordered steps to mitigate the risk of issues (3 years).
2. Experience with ServiceNow integration solutions including: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SFTP, and MID server (3 years).
3. Experience with IT Service Management applications and ITIL processes in an enterprise environment (3 years).
4. Experience creating and maintaining business rules, script includes, data policies, client scripts, UI policies, UI Actions, Notifications, ACLs, Workflows, Variables, and Portal Widgets (3 years).
5. Experience with creating and modifying ATF tests, and flow designer flows (1 year).
6. JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML5, CSS, REST web services, Bootstrap, JQuery, and responsive web design.
7. Software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile Scrum methodology and N-tiered architecture.

Salary: $155,605-181,272 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
