BASIC FUNCTIONS: We are seeking a skilled Salesforce CPQ Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving efficiency and accuracy in our quoting and pricing processes, ensuring customer satisfaction and revenue growth.  This position performs moderately difficult research, design, and software development assignments within a specific software functional area or product line. The position should have the ability to work on individual pieces of work and solve problems including the design of the program flow of individual pieces of code, effective coding, and unit testing.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• 4+ years of Salesforce development experience, 2+ years in Salesforce CPQ administration and development
• BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Proficiency in Salesforce CPQ configuration and customizationStrong understanding of pricing strategies and discount structuresExperience with product catalog setup, including bundling and configurationPrevious experience working with a global, enterprise Salesforce implementation including Sales, Marketing and/or Service CloudsDemonstrated experience with the Salesforce platform and integrations including, but not limited to CPQ, Pardot, ETM, Einstein Analytics, etc.Participation in refactoring existing development to improve underlying foundationAbility to map business and functional requirements to Salesforce out of box features and functionalityStrong knowledge of Salesforce configuration and customization, data loaderStrong knowledge of Salesforce workflows including triggers, SOQL and SOSLStrong knowledge of data sharing rules and functionalityFamiliarity with Apex, and Lightning with Aura and Lightning with web componentsFamiliarity with Copado CI/CD or other CI/CD toolsExpertise in development languages including but not limited to: Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX, and .NetStrong research skillsStrong knowledge in industry best practices in developmentAbility to work well with internal and external technology resourcesKnowledge of automation tools such as Copada CRT, Jenkins, Selenium, Neoload and/or other automation tools is a plusAbility to write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of complex system componentsAbility to complete complex bug fixesGood oral and written communications skillsKnowledge and understanding of Siebel a plus

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Configure and customize Salesforce CPQ to meet business requirementsDevelop and maintain price books, product rules and discount schedulesCollaborate with sales, product management and finance teams to ensure accurate and competitive pricingTroubleshoot and resolve CPQ-related issues and provide ongoing supportInterface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirementsWrite and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexityWork closely with other development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designsSuccessfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviewsOperate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholdersResolve technical issues as necessaryKeep abreast of new technology developmentsComplete bug fixesAll other duties as assigned
