Our Team 

The Data Analytics & BI team provides Visualization Portal, Analytical metrics and visualizations, Customer UIs and Data Science products that form part of Governance Risk and Compliance area that works for Information Security area of Walmart Customers, Data & Infra.  

As a Software Engineer III you have a deep interest and passion for technology. You love writing and owning codes and enjoy working with people who will keep challenging you at every stage. You have strong problem solving, analytic, decision-making and excellent communication with interpersonal skills. You are self-driven and motivated with the desire to work in a fast-paced, results-driven agile environment with varied responsibilities. 

 

Your Responsibility 

 Design, build, test and deploy cutting edge solutions at scale, impacting millions of customers worldwide drive value from data at Walmart Scale Interact with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community.  Engage with Product Management and Business to drive the agenda, set your priorities and deliver awesome product features to keep platform ahead of market scenarios. Work on right open source and proprietary tools to deliver product features by performing research, POC/Pilot and/or interacting with various open source forums Develop and/or Contribute to add features that enable governance, risk and compliance analytics at Walmart scale Deploy and monitor products on Cloud platforms Develop and implement best-in-class monitoring processes to enable data applications meet SLAs 

 

Your Qualifications 

 Min 3-6 years of Reporting & Visualization Tools development experience.  Good expertise and proficiency in Tableau, PowerBI or Looker.  Demonstrates up-to-date understanding of Various Data Models and that impact reporting user experience and functionality.  Design, develop, implement and tune large-scale reports & visualizations; focusing on scalability, low -latency, and fault-tolerance in every system built.   Experience with Governance, Risk and Compliance data analytics is added advantage.   Identifies possible options and recommendations to address the business problems, big data analytics, and automation   Exposure to programming languages like Java/Scala is a plus. Understanding of User Experience impact and ability to focus and influence business audience on the same. Ability to guide junior associates. Retail experience is huge plus

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
