Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond. **Responsibilities** + Design, implementation, and testing of multiple new messaging and AI features. + Build user experiences that work great across multiple devices and browsers. + Write and maintain unit tests and automated integration or end-to-end tests. + The ideal candidate has the drive and experience building web and GenAI applications in enterprise and/or consumer markets. + Experience in React framework and TypeScript/JavaScript is a requirement. + Collaborate with partner teams to meet engineering goals. + Manage individual projects or feature priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. + Embody our Culture  (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/about/corporate-values) and Values (https://careers.microsoft.com/us/en/culture) **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python + OR equivalent experience. + Engineering experience with large scale complex modern web development stacks like React and GraphQL. **Other Requirements:** Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: + **Microsoft Cloud Background Check:** This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python + OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python + OR equivalent experience. + Strong knowledge of computer science, algorithms, and design patterns. Strong passion for delivering high-quality, large-scale services. + Ability to appreciate complex problems with a thorough design and collaborate with multiple partners on common goals. + Experience with unit-test, continuous integration, and test-driven development. + Experience with telemetry and data-driven development. + Experience with web performance profiling and analysis. Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $83,600 - CAD $159,600 per year.
