Your work will focus on developing a modern, user-friendly interface and building highly performant, reliable systems for online shoppers at scale. Manage complex feature ownership by collaborating with product managers and engineering teams. + Engineer development and maintenance for large-scale, commercial, consumer, or internal development applications. Evaluate a broad range of technologies, design, implement, and refine chosen solutions. + Define and implement metrics, monitoring, and testing frameworks for key features and KPIs. Facilitate architectural changes through this process. + Contribute to the growth of other engineers through code reviews, mentoring, and active collaboration. Work with stakeholders to determine user requirements for features. + Create and implement code for products, services, or features, reusing code where applicable. Break down larger work items into smaller tasks and provide accurate estimations. + Stay current with industry developments to improve product performance and drive consistency in monitoring and operations at scale. **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, React, JavaScript, C# and/or Java + OR equivalent experience. + 2+ years of a proven track record for building and shipping production software + 2+ years demonstrated experience in different software development cycle: design, implementation, deployment, and live site + 2+ years experience tracking complex technical issues for running online services.  **Preferred Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, React, JavaScript, C# and/or Java + OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, React, JavaScript, C# and/or Java + OR equivalent experience. + Passion for supporting great quality, high performance, and reliable system/API. + Customer focused, strategic, drives for results, is self-motivated, and has a propensity for action + Good problem solver; ability to solve problems that the world has not solved before + Excellent written and oral communication skills.  Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $83,600 - CAD $159,600 per year.
