Leverage a variety of feedback channels to incorporate insights into future designs or solution fixes. + Profile performance problems and drive optimizations that span web delivery platform and the product. This entails applying debugging tools and examining logs, telemetry, and other methods to understand possibly optimizations, test them and verify their impact during rollout. + Lead by example within the team by producing maintainable code and infrastructure. Optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to improve performance and maintainability, effectiveness, and return on investment (ROI). + Drive efforts to ensure the correct processes are followed when making changes. This is to achieve a high degree of security, privacy, and performance. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the implications of onboarding delivery technologies following expectations of compliance at Microsoft and Outlook. + Remain current in skills by investing time and effort into staying abreast of current developments and evangelizing to the rest of the team. + Propose, design and implement new features that help the quality of the Outlook products. **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python + OR equivalent experience. + 1+ years of experience with Web browser development. + Experience developing, debugging, and shipping software products on large code bases that span platforms and tools. **Other Requirements:** Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
