What You Will Be Doing  

7+ years of hands-on experience in software development roles using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, ORM, JDBC7+ years of hands-on experience in front-end development using Angular3+ years of experience working on large-scale, client-facing, enterprise production softwareRecent experience leading or working on products from architectural design to production while setting and maintaining high standards of technical excellence and processesExperience working in an Agile environment where production code is delivered bi-monthlyWorking knowledge of SDLC, CI/CD and DevOpsStrong English communication and collaboration skills and ability to work with technical and business team membersResourceful and proactive in gathering information, solving problems, and sharing ideas

Partner closely with development managers, product owners, SMEs, and other stakeholders to fully understand software feature and product visions and provide engineering feedbackWrite high-quality code and create design artifacts for large scale, critical production systemsBuild secure, robust, scalable, and performant components for banking productsEstimate development effort and participate in planning activitiesUtilize Test-Driven Development to ensure comprehensive test coverage of new codeSuggest technical alternatives and designs where applicableAnalyze requirements and translate into product/feature designWrite technical specifications and other required documentationMaintain and optimize existing codeResearch issues and defects as neededMentor junior engineers

Educational Qualification: •       Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Information Systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. Master’s degree desirable.
