Responsibilities

The Software Engineer will be responsible for building custom software solutions of high-quality while following the coding standards and technical design.

Designs and develops software applicationsPerforms coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development processTypically reports to a managerGains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job functionOccasionally directed in several aspects of the workSome travel is expected, up to 15% Qualifications

1. Requires Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience

 

2. Minimum of 4 years of professional experience designing and developing software applications

 

3. .NET

Proficiency with C# and the Microsoft .NET FrameworkProficiency with Object Oriented Programming (OOP)Proficiency with troubleshooting/debugging software applicationsExperience with the following technologies:Windows ServicesMicrosoft Entity FrameworkSQL, LINQMicrosoft SQL ServerOracleTCP/IPHaving experience with the following development tools:Microsoft Visual StudioMicrosoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)Microsoft Azure/DevOps, GitSource Control and Bug TrackingMicrosoft SQL Management StudioMicrosoft VisioMicrosoft Office

4. Experience designing and developing Web based systems, as well as Client / Server based applications.

5. Experience in software development lifecycle methodology

6. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

7. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
