About the role:
As a Software Developer, you will be analysing, designing and coding our FIS Security Finance Trading Manager product (formerly Apex Securities Finance) used by many of the largest banks in the world.  You will be based in the City of London working with an experienced multi-disciplined team to meet the clients’ requirements.

About the team:  
Join a team of software developers and product analysts working in an Agile environment who combine to produce an industry leading trading floor product that handles all aspects of securities finance and related businesses.  Take part in the whole life cycle of the product development ranging from gathering requirements through coding and testing to delivery.  Innovate and collaborate to improve the processes and product through solutions such as AI.

What you will be doing:

Working in an Agile team structure to produce solutions for our clientsCollaborating with a global team to meet deadlines and produce consistently high-quality workAnalysing functional and technical requirementsUsing your coding skills to implement the changes requiredHelping to write code driven test packagesBringing ideas and innovation to improve processes and the productAttending training sessions to build on professional skills

What you will need:

C++ coding skills (at least 5 years’ experience)Source Code Management experience (e.g. GIT or SVN)Understanding and experience of Agile methodologiesDatabase skills (Oracle preferred)

Added bonus if you have:

Java and/or Python coding skillsDevOps skills (e.g. Jenkins, OpenShift)Good mathematical skills
