About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 08 The Team: The selected candidate will be part of the S&P Global Technology’s Cloud & Infrastructure team and thereby provide subject matter expert on Cloud enablement & Automation and play a vital role in the enablement S&P Global hybrid datacenter (Cloud and On-prem) environment and effectively harness the power and versatility of software defined technologies to achieve resiliency, operational efficiencies and cost savings. Responsibilities: Architect and manage cloud infrastructure across platforms like AWS or Azure Develop and oversee infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Ensure cloud resources are performing optimally, securely, and cost-effectively. Construct and manage CI/CD pipelines for streamlined software deployment. Automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of infrastructure. Enhance application performance for reliable and efficient service delivery. Partner with development and operations teams to integrate cloud services, facilitate application deployment, and refine workflows. Should be able to write Python code for backend services and automation tasks, developing scripts and tools for cloud management and deployment processes. Support creation of responsive web applications, and collaborating for a unified user experience. · What We’re Looking For: Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in technology/information management, engineering or related field required Knowledge of cloud computing and DevOps practices. Proficiency in Python. Experience with cloud services across AWS or Azure Skilled in IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Proficient with CI/CD and automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD. Basic understanding of frontend development with React.js, Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and DOM manipulation. Additional Skills: · Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically. · Excellent communication and teamwork skills. · A proactive and self-motivated approach to work. · A willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
