Job Description
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer who will be involved in all aspects of the Software Lifecycle including development, testing, design, and documentation. You will work on defense-oriented system software and backend software engineering, focusing on network communications and system-level programming in C#.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain system-level software using C#.Participate in all phases of the Software Lifecycle, including development, testing, design, and documentation.Work on defense-oriented system software projects.Implement and manage network communications protocols.Collaborate with a small team of 6-7 software engineers.Ensure high-quality backend software engineering.Essential SkillsProficiency in C#.Strong understanding of object-oriented design.Knowledge of network protocols and data structures.Experience in system software engineering.Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.Minimum GPA of 3.0.At least 2 years of relevant experience, including co-ops/internships.Ability to discuss multi-tasking, object-oriented design, network protocols, data structures, data types, memory management, and error handling in detail.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with defense-oriented software projects is a plus.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Strong problem-solving abilities.Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Work Environment
This position is onsite 100% of the time, with a mix of office and lab settings. The team consists of about 6-7 Software Engineers. There may be occasional travel to trade shows and test events, although this is not a requirement. Travel would be limited to a few weeks per year, with trips lasting only a few days at a time, and all expenses covered. The company culture emphasizes work/life balance, with a 980 schedule that includes every other Friday off. Working over 40 hours a week is very rare.

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $45.00
