About the Role
Splunk is looking for enthusiastic and innovative frontend Software Engineers to join our Splunk Observability team who will work on systems that empower our customers to quickly detect and resolve their infrastructure and application issues.You will closely collaborate with designers, Frontend Architects, and Product Managers to craft and implement modern, delightful, and intuitive features that streamline the experience between multiple Splunk products. We are passionate about solving customers’ problems as well as building best-of-its-kind products and you will help us win in this fast-growing market.Responsibilities
Develop and own moderate complexity features .
Become proficient in Splunk's core technologies and processes as they apply to application development.
Participate in design discussions actively, proposes and/or discusses solutions to system
Design subsystems and work with senior engineers to consider scale, performance, high availability as part of design.
Designs for testability. Automates effective test cases, and can make necessary test framework improvements as required.
Take ownership of subsystems and/or small features and propose changes or improvements to them.
Work with support, customers to actively troubleshoot issues and propose workaround
Qualifications
Must-Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related majors; 4 years of experience
Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python and etc
Passionate about building elegant and powerful user interfaces to tackle customer problems.
Adapt to new working environments and learn new technologies quickly.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work with engineers and non-engineers of various skill levels.
Knowledge of web standards, modern browsers, responsive design, and full web technology stack.
Prior experience with working with at least one JS framework, e.g. React, Backbone or Angular
Prior experience in building delightful web applications.
Experience participating in technical designs for frontend systems is a plus.
Prior experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and GCP is a plus
Experience with 1 or more relational databases & NoSQL databases is a plus
Familiarity with test automation frameworks
Nice to have skills:
Should be able to guide junior developers or interns
Experience in working within a Continuous Delivery (CD) development model

Base Pay Range
India
Base Pay: INR 1,480,000.00 - 2,035,000.00 per year
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
