As a Software engineer you will be responsible for the development of server and visualization software used with Honeywell’s flagship automation system Experion PKS, which is used by Honeywell’s global customers in the Energy, Chemicals, Life Sciences and Pulp & Paper markets to help them increase their profitability and productivity
Key Responsibilities:
Perform software engineering tasks as part of a team to develop innovations for Honeywell’s market leading mission critical software solutions Apply contemporary software development methodologies and tools, such as Agile and Iterative development, across the full development lifecycle Provide responsive customer support for software solutions developed· Coaching and helping develop other team members
Key Experience & Capabilities:
1-3 years software engineering experience Tertiary qualification in B.E Electrical and BSc. Computer Science or Software Engineering (high credit average minimum) or equivalent Proficient in C/C++, SQL, HTML5/Javascript/CSS3, Design patterns, Debugging and troubleshooting skills Familiar with analysis, design, coding, testing and support of softwareIf you are an engineer at heart who is passionate about using software and technology to solve real world problems, then this is the role for you! We are looking for outstanding candidates who like taking initiative and working with others to get results. We are open to considering candidates with knowledge of any technologies if you can learn quickly and have problem solving capabilities. Our stack is a combination of C/C++ and JavaScript/TypeScript.
