DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting to build solutions or break down technical problems. Develop secure and high-quality production code, as well as review and debug code written by others. Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems. Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Senior Consultant, Java Developer, Technical Associate, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Apache Kafka; Jenkins; Java; AWS Cloud Services; Spark streaming; AWS Glue; Apache Flink; Snowflake; and Java Springboot.

Job Location: 575 Washington Boulevard, Jersey City, NJ 07310. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.

Full-Time. Salary:  $143,100 - $180,000 per year.
