Your RoleDesign and develop Core Software Infrastructure for the Nutanix distributed clusterAbility to make the code extendable for a massively distributed infrastructure with several nodes with millions of entities.Ability to design software with clean interfaces and APIs with other componentsUnderstand intrinsic details about key distributed design principles like CAP theorem, PACELC etc. and ability to apply in virtualized environments.Interact with other teams across the system software stack to clearly communicate and express your technical views and designWork in a fast-moving agile environmentUse critical thinking and problem-solving skills

 What You Will Bring

Excellent design and coding skills in Python, GolangExperience in designing and developing core software infrastructureUnderstanding of hypervisors like ESXi, KVM, or HyperVAbility to design software with clean interfaces and APIsFamiliarity with key distributed design principlesExcellent problem-solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to collaborate and work in a fast-paced environmentBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field3 to 6 years of experience in related fields. 

 

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 124,800 and USD $ 249,600 per year.However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
