Job Description

This is a unique employment opportunity to build experience, while in school, for a career in software development. We are seeking a Co-Op who is able to work with us part time starting June/July/August 2024 to December 2024 with the possibility to extend. As a Motorola Co-Op, you will be embedded in a full-stack agile development team. You will be mentored by a group of experienced engineers and work alongside them to deliver valuable software and customer focused solutions.

Our co-op program is unique in several ways:

Flexible work schedule up to 20 hours per week to accommodate school

Hands-on experience developing enterprise software 

Excellent mentoring by a team of professional software engineers

Broad exposure to the full software development stack - server, client, front-end, web, etc.

Successful completion of your Co-Op will put you first in line for full time employment opportunities at Motorola

Preferred Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Computer Science or related STEM discipline

Proficiency in C#, JAVA or other object oriented programming language

Computer science fundamentals in OO design, computer systems, functional programming, data structure, relational database

This position is based in Fresno, CA and the candidate must be in the greater area as you will be required to go into the office on a hybrid work schedule.

The hourly wage for this position in California is $22/hr - $28/hr.
