Autodesk's Development Enablement organization seeks a hands-on, experienced Software Development Manager to lead a team of intelligent and driven developers responsible for building, maintaining, and supporting Autodesk's next-generation continuous integration and continuous delivery platform.
**Responsibilities**
+ Lead, manage, and mentor the software development team
+ Establish software development standards and practices
+ Engage in technical and architectural discussions and decision-making
+ Attract, hire, and continuously grow top software development talent
+ Build and foster a high-performance culture
+ Perform code reviews and technology evaluations
+ Be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of technical projects
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and build toward a cohesive technical strategy
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ 5+ years of people management experience
+ Hands-on experience with public cloud technologies (AWS)
+ Deep understanding of designing and maintaining large-scale, distributed platforms
+ Experience working with remote teams and other cross-functional stakeholders
+ Recent hands-on experience within one or more languages – Go/Java/Python
+ Understanding & curiosity about DevOps best practices
+ Good self-management skills and ability to track and prioritize multiple tasks coming in simultaneously
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience building apps on AWS using services such as Step functions, DynamoDB, IAM, EC2, CloudWatch, and Lambda
+ Experience consuming, designing, and implementing REST APIs
+ Good understanding of networking and security concepts
+ Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, NewRelic, ELK)

**Salary transparency**
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $136,000 and $187,000. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
