Software Development Engineer in Test (AWS and Mobile)

Let’s talk about Responsibilities

Develop test automation frameworks and test case code used for testing and driving quality of the Digital Health Technology productsMeet testing project deadlines in collaboration with the Global teamPropose, define and implement processes and standards for improved test automation in line with Continuous Integration for a DevOps pipeline delivery modelDevelop and execute tests for products and related componentsLead collaborative design reviews and perform test code inspections leading to optimizations for optimal test automation executionConstantly look for ways to improve the existing products to make them more reliablePerform testing and other duties as required including test automation maintenanceBuild collaborative relationships within teams and across the business to facilitate the accomplishment of work goalsMaintain technical skills and awareness of improvements in the software test automation and tooling space within the industryOther tasks and responsibilities as assigned that support the team goals


Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experienceExperience leading teams and mentoring junior staff on framework architecture8+ years of experience in software test automation or application developmentExperience in implementing Quality Engineering processes and test automation framework for the projects using micro-services architectureExperience in testing multi-threaded applications and fluent in the concepts of threads, processes, concurrency, and locking scenariosExperience in open source test frameworks and automated in a variety of programming languages such as JavaScript or PythonSpecific experience in JMeter, Rest Assured, REST API, AWS XCUITest, UIAutomator, Cypress.Detailed knowledge and experience in software testing methodologies.Experience implementing web services or remote APIs such as RESTExperience with tools and applications like JIRA, Confluence, Git, Nexus, Maven, CucumberExcellent experience continuous delivery with Gihub actions, Bamboo or similar CI serversUnderstanding of Product Development Life Cycle, including Agile SCRUMExperience working in a development environment in either a commercial regulatory or medical device industry preferred

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.

 

At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current base range for this position is: $107,000 - $134,000 USD.
