Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT) drives the physical engine at the heart of Amazon. AFT builds and operates software, hardware, and the processes that run the global network of fulfillment centers that move billions of units of inventory, employ tens of thousands of people, and ensure that customers get what they want when promised. We do this by building automated solutions to handle things that technology does well, while relying on people to handle things that humans do well.

Catalog Data team owns data quality and populating catalog item attributes from various sources including AFT processes and selling partners. The team is responsible for ensuring that all inventory items have their catalog information & known barcode linkages prepared ahead of item identification requirements at FCs in order to drive business and runtime decisions when handling the inventory. The team also owns sharing fulfillment data with upstream data providers(e.g., retail catalog) to improve the overall catalog data accuracy.

Key job responsibilities
As an engineer on the team, you will be challenged with building innovative and scalable systems that manage Amazon inventory globally. You will own systems end-to-end, from design through implementation, testing, and deployment. You will be empowered to think big, invent on behalf of our customers, make judgment calls and find elegant solutions to hard problems.
