Job Description

As a Software Developer within the Eurofins network you will be involved in developing and designing our software applications that have a real impact on safety, health, and the environment. You will have the opportunity to advance your career in Information Technology by learning new technical skills and obtaining technical certifications within a fast-growing, international organisation.         

 

What can I expect during the internship?

The programme is designed to provide participants with a period of mentoring, technical training, and the possibility to work in a real-world setting, focusing on in-house software development processes within Eurofins network. Our aim is to give interns the tools to accept ownership of their assigned projects by providing skills and experiences based on development opportunities.

 

Each intern will have the opportunity to work on different projects that will give them the chance to develop an extensive network of contacts while experiencing different cultures and approaches.

 

Each intern will be part of a programme in which they will design, develop and operate a Laboratory Information System (LIMS), used for Food, Feed and Environment testing. More specifically, interns will participate in enhancing and migrating the current application for microbiology analyses to a new application called Angular.

 

What can I expect after the internship?

At the end of a successful internship , you will be given the opportunity to join the

Eurofins network in a permanent position and, if interested, participate in our

International Mobility Programme which will give you the opportunity to work in one of our main IT delivery centres worldwide.

Qualifications

Computer Science or Engineering, at Master’s degree level.

Fluent spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus.
