We are currently looking for an Embedded Software Engineer (C++ 17) to join our Mission Software Development group within our Mission Processing team in Poway, CA. As a Software Engineer for GA-ASI, you will research, design, develop and/or modify enterprise-wide end–user, system level, and data management software applications that correlate directly to the technologies that are integrated into our Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS).
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Design and develop C++ 17 infrastructure and services for x86 and ARM 9 systems.Use Petalinux build tools for ARM 9 systemsResponsible for unit testing, integration testing, software maintenance, and documentation and meeting software quality and compliance standards.Evaluate integration of software applications with the overall computing environment.Communicate with domain experts, users, and management throughout the software development lifecycle.Contribute to planning of application development and deployment.Perform other duties as assigned or required.Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.Perform other duties as assigned.Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
