The National Security Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Software Developer to work in our Colorado Springs, CO, office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to advance space domain awareness and space battle management capabilities for the US Space Force and Department of Defense. In this mission we develop, test, and integrate advanced command and control (C2), processing, and analytics to accelerate our Nation’s capability to search, acquire, characterize, and assess threats from new space launches and on-orbit events.
Primary Responsibilities. As a software developer on a Leidos space software team, you will collaborate across a multi-disciplinary organization to architect and develop code, integrate software with Leidos and external systems for test and integration of space kill chains. You will also have an opportunity to interface with US Space Force Guardians to capture operational challenges and demonstrate solutions to those challenges.
Basic Qualifications.
-Bachelors’ Degree and 4+ years experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Mathematics
-4 years of software development experience
-Must have experience with Agile programming, test-driven development, microservice based architectures, and JavaScript.
-Must have a Secret security clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a TS Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications.
-Experience developing, testing and integrating space domain capabilities
-Experience working with US Space Force and/or DoD customers to identify pain paints, document requirements and features, and demonstrate and adapt prototype capabilities
-Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance

Pay Range:Pay Range $81,250.00 - $146,875.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
