Qualcomm Cloud BU is looking for a cloud software generalist to augment our team that develops cloud ecosystem support for Qualcomm’s high-performance inference accelerator Cloud AI 100 and related products. 

 

An ideal candidate should be familiar with developing user space applications in a Linux environment. Our software stack is based on C++ and Python.  

 

The candidate should be familiar with prevalent Cloud orchestration elements (Docker, K8s) and specific implementations within different public clouds (EKS, RKE2, Openshift). AWS and Azure experience is highly valuable.  

 

Experience with Cloud deep learning concepts (Inference specific) are desired. Any experience with open source NN model serving tools (Kserve, Triton, BentoML) is a plus.  

  
Required Skills and Aptitudes 

Linux user-space development. Docker containers and deployment management using K8s. C/C++ software development including debug and testing, preferable using GNU/LLVM tools) Python software development. Experience with Source Code and Configuration management tools. 

 

  
Desirable Skills and Aptitudes 

3+ years of relevant experience Experience working with LLVM serving frameworks. (vLLM, KServe, BentoML) Experience with developing and deploying Cloud based ML services.

Minimum Qualifications:

•    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
